A joint venture with the City of Edmonton, the Edmonton Food Bank, and a number of community groups (Arts on the Avenue, John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights, the Neighbourhood Empowerment Team), as a place for in-need community members to provide free non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, donated clothing, and resource referral. With the barriers put up for families to access food and the deepening of the COVID pandemic’s impact on the most vulnerable, as a collective, our goal is to ensure dignity and access to food for all. The pantry is open once a week, every Monday afternoon (except holidays), 3-5 pm, on a first-come/first-served basis. We do not provide packed hampers, committing to creating a space where people can pick what they need. Please bring your own bags! Alberta Health Services protocols are followed.
